Fall 2025 Report

Since the April 2025 CUCRA meeting at UC Riverside, the UC Davis Retirees Association (UCDRA) has continued to meet in person and sponsor events with the UCD Retiree Center, including several speakers, the New Retiree Reception and Resource Fair, and a trip to the Bodega Bay Marine Lab. Next up is the Holiday Celebration Luncheon in December. Monthly coffee socials hosted by the Center in Davis continue to be very popular as well.
We sent out the 2024 CUCRA Survey Report to the Chancellor’s Leadership Council, and VP ML Farrell, Past President Emily Galindo, and President Dianne Gregory were able to meet with Chancellor Gary May and members of his leadership team to offer highlights of the report. It was well-received (with suggestions on how to get a better response in 2028), and the discussion centered around what retirees can do for the University to help in these very interesting times.
