Our Team
UC Retirees Travel is coordinated by a team of volunteers, all UC retirees, who publicize our trips, provide pre-trip information, answer traveler's questions, and escort trips with at least 12 UC travelers.
FAQs
Before registering for a trip, review the trip flyer and visit our Frequently-Asked-Questions page. If you have questions after reviewing flyers and our FAQ page, please email us at UCRetireesTravel@gmail.com.
Travel Apps
When it comes to travel, “there’s an app for that.” Smart phone apps can ease navigating, conversing, or researching when traveling. Many apps offer a free version and a paid option with upgraded features.
Healthy Packing Checklist
Packing a mini pharmacy may seem like overkill when you’re feeling perfectly healthy upon departure, but if something does go wrong, being prepared can help you enjoy your trip to the fullest. View the Healthy Packing Checklist (PDF).
Trip Actvity Levels
Trips are rated from activity level 1 to activity level 5. These rates vary slightly for each of our partner tour operators, with level 1 being the most leisurely and level 5 being strenuous. Most of our trips are rated level 2 or level 3, as most of our travelers are moderately active to active travelers. Actvity levels are described in each trip flyer and additional details for Collette and OAT can be found at the links below:
The following 2025 trips feature a more relaxed itinerary: Danube River cruise, America's Cowboy Country, and Canadian Maritimes.
