Travel the world with retirees from all the UC locations and their guests. Our group tours are inclusive of lodging, a dedicated tour leader local to the regions we visit, many meals, and most excursions, so you can relax and enjoy the trip. With at least 12 UC travelers, a UC Retirees liaison accompanies the trip to support the tour leader.
Click on the trip links to see detailed flyers, including the daily itinerary and activity level. Some tours are more active than others, and may involve walking/hiking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, or experiencing changes in elevation.
Don't hesitate to register, as many trips fill several months to a year or more before departure, and tour operators release our unsold seats to the public about seven months before departure. If a trip is full, you are encouraged to join the waiting list, as we do get cancellations.
UC Retirees Travel is coordinated by a team of volunteer liaisons, all UC retirees, who publicize our trips, provide pre-trip information, answer traveler's questions, and escort trips with at least 12 UC travelers. Read about our volunteer liaisons.

Travel Apps
When it comes to travel, “there’s an app for that.” Smart phone apps can ease navigating, conversing, or researching when traveling. Many apps offer a free version and a paid option with upgraded features.
TSA Rules
TSA rules are complicated with regard to packing lithium batteries, medical devices, and other specialty items. Planning ahead and packing properly can ease your travel experience at the airport.
