Sue Barnes

Sue Barnes, the UC Retirees Travel coordinator, retired in 2019 after nearly 25 years with UC, primarily at UC Davis. She held various administrative positions in housing, campus events, and campus recreation before serving as the director of the UC Davis and UCLA retirement centers during the last 10 years of her career. Sue likes travel (of course), biking, sewing, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.

Dolores Dyer

Dolores Dyer is the UC Retirees Travel program assistant coordinator and coordinator of the UCLA Retirees Association travel group. She retired in 2010 as director of the David Geffen School of Medicine Concierge Health Care Service. This position enabled her to meet many UCLA benefactors, governmental officials, and several of the world's royal families. Retirement has provided time to visit her grandchildren and freedom to travel with family and friends.

Vickie Leow

Vickie Leow, UC Retirees Travel trip escort, serves on the UCSF Retirees Association Board and the UCSFRA Events Planning Committee. She has a degree in art history and worked as a graphic artist for the UCSF School of Dentistry for 32 years before retiring in 2008. Vickie still works occasionally as a free-lance illustrator and is an active volunteer. She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, hiking, playing golf, swimming, watching K-dramas, meeting new people and being with family and friends.

Sandra Norberg

Sandra Norberg, UC Retirees Travel trip escort and UCSF travel program coordinator, is a UC Davis graduate who enjoyed serving and supporting UC San Francisco faculty and staff during a 30-year career in Human Resources before retiring in 2003 as the UCSF campus benefits manager. Sandra serves as UCSF Retirees Association president while enjoying an active retirement filled with volunteer activities, language study, playing classical piano, cooking, travel, and enjoying time with family and friends.

Frank Trueba

Frank Trueba, UC Retirees Travel trip escort, retired in 2017 after 30 years with UC, having worked at UCLA, UC Davis, and UC Santa Cruz. He was the UCSC Health Care Facilitator for 15 years and the Benefits Manager for his last three years. In retirement, he continues to share his benefits expertise as the UCSC CUCRA representative. He enjoys creating art as a printmaker (primarily Japanese woodblock and silkscreen printing), reading, watching movies, and, of course, traveling.

Sabina White

Sabina White, UC Retirees Travel trip escort, founded the department of Health and Wellness at the UC Santa Barbara and served as an academic lecturer and department head from 1977–2012. She also taught Resiliency Education and Social Emotional Skill Development at Antioch University from 2000 - 2019. Sabina currently serves on local boards, teaches Mental Health First Aid, leads support groups for the National Alliance on Mental Illness and is active in the UCSB Retiree Association.

Elise Woods

Elise Woods, UC Retirees Travel trip escort, is treasurer of the UC Berkeley Retirees' Association (UCRAB), the UCRAB CUCRA representative, and a UC Davis alumna. Elise’s 36-year career in the UC system covered a broad range of administrative roles. Retired in 2018, she worked on three campuses, UCSB, UCOP, and UCB, where she was the chief administrative offcer of the UCB Libraries. She enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, and keeping fit by running/hiking in the hills.
